Pastor Deon Brown is an Associate Pastor at The Church of the Redeemed of the Lord under the anointed leadership of Bishop Jerome Stokes. He was baptized in the name of Jesus and filled with the Holy Ghost at the tender age of 12. He has been a faithful and dedicated member of The Church of the Redeemed of the Lord since 1987 and served as the Youth Pastor from 2005-2015.

Pastor Brown graduated from Towson University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Clinical Psychology. He received a certificate in Alcohol and Chemical Dependency Counseling from Dundalk Community College, and a certificate of training in Mental Health from Sheppard Pratt Hospital. In 2002, he received a Clinical Pastoral Education certificate as well as a master’s degree in Pastoral Counseling from Loyola College.

In 2015, Pastor Brown answered the call to start his own clinical practice, DJB Therapeutic Solutions and became known as the DMV therapist, now known as the “Self-Care Therapist”. His practice rapidly flourished, providing mental health services to teens, adults, couples and consulting with various churches and ministries nationwide. The integration of mental health, community, and spirituality are key areas of focus, which propelled him to become a highly sought after speaker, host, panelist and presenter for conferences, summits, retreats and much more. He is a self-care expert, and best-selling author of “Non- Negotiable Self Care”. Through his practice, he specializes in working with individuals, professionals, leaders, companies, staff members, and churches to improve their self-care, through teaching practical tools and tips. His

teaching, and preaching sermons are also duly notes for his love, and special interest in all things Superhero Related.
