Dr. Browns Clergy Mental Health and Wellness Presentation was an invaluable resource that promoted the well-being and resilience of those who provide spiritual guidance. By addressing the mental health needs of clergy members, He is not only fostering healthier individuals but also building stronger, more supportive communities and places to worship. His dedication to this crucial topic is making a positive impact on this generation of clergy, and ensuring that the next generation is leading our communities from a healthier more sober place.

BOOK TESTIMONIAL

“Deon’s presentation on non-negotiable self care was so helpful to the therapists in my department. During the height of COVID we were in survival mode and many of us lost track of how important it is to make time to relax and take care of ourselves. Deon’s presentation offered ideas for how to incorporate self care back into our routines and stressed the importance of this is to our physical health, relationships, and careers”

BOOK TESTIMONIAL

“Deon’s discussion, and presentation on “ MEN AND SELF CARE” , was incredibly impactful for the men of our church. Deon came to us for our annual Men’s weekend, and really challenged the men to look at their own self-care as husbands, fathers, employee’s , administrators, etc. The way he engaged the audience around their Physical, Mental, Emotional, and Spiritual Health motivated many of the men to take considerable assessment, and implement many of the tools that were shared from this presentation. If you are a church, and your looking for someone to help with the wellness of your leadership staff, or men, this would be a great speaker to use.”

Therapist Brown is awesome. I was looking for a black non-old male therapist and he is serving me well. He offers good insight and homework to do to help me work through issues. I know he probable wants to kick me out and be like “GTFOH” sometimes but he doesn’t and is very helpful and relatable. Call or email him to see if you can get on his schedule. He has office hours in Silver Spring and Baltimore as well.

Client CG TESTIMONIAL

“During the pandemic, the world came to a complete stand still and no one fully understood why and what was happening. As time continued, we realized that how this “unknown” invisible thing was impacting the lives of so many people not just physically but mentally. As an educator we really noticed how things were impacting our students and staff members. I collaborated with two of my colleagues and we decided to host a virtual mental health conference. Deon Brown at DJB Therapeutic Solutions quickly came to mind. The way he approached the subject on mental health and shared different coping strategies was extremely helpful. The participants at the conference ranted and raved about how Deon’s expertise on the subject opened their eyes to the importance of self-care!”
